​ The Artisan saddle is suited to middleweight horses and with its angled three quarter block is suitable for most riders. There is a cut away skirt to allow the block to sit higher into the skirt to give the rider extra support and stability. The twist of the tree is strained in a way to allow the inner thigh to have a close feel to the horse with no bulkiness. The saddle shown is a monoflap saddle and the panel is our own Double SS panel and is designed to allow plenty of room across the spine for the horse to feel loose and free and allowing the horse to work to its highest capability. This saddle is great for horses who need a wider channel but the saddle still retains a narrow twist for the riders comfort

The Artisan starts at less than $5000.00. (Any tax or shipping not included.) These custom saddles rival saddles priced in the $7500 to $8000 range. There are an infinite number of special touches you can add, including special bars, inlaid seats, pattern changes, special leathers or cantle/bead choices. Our test saddles can be bought for less.
