SMART START CLINIC SERIES 2008
Smart Start is gearing up for the clinics of 2008 (our
kickoff will be an open house in March)! This series has been designed to
breakdown our training techniques into segments showing, from groundwork to
under saddle, how our training style ties everything together to result in a
well-mannered and successful horse. Whether destined for show or leisure/trail
riding, every one of our horses progresses through this program, which allows
us to bring them to their full potential.
Just sending a heads up to everyone that Smart Start Stable's next clinic is
Saturday and Sunday June 7th and June 8th! There won't be a Friday night
lecture, we'll be doing a short lecture and demonstration on Saturday morning
reviewing our techniques and talking about how ground work transfers to under
saddle work.
Horses of all ages and abilities are welcome to be in the clinic. We tailor
the clinic to each horse's individual needs. We've had horses that need work
on ground manners, horses that need help working through fear issues, horses
that won't stand for the farrier, horses that buck, horses that pull, horses
that bolt, horses that need to work softer in the show ring, horses that won't
stand when being mounted, just to name a few.
The clinic runs from 9 am to 3:30 pm each day. Lunch is included for
participants and auditors. Check out the website for more details.
If you have any questions or would like to sign up, feel free to email or call
Suzette (715)-549-6579.
