Funquest Agizon X Flyhawk's Fancy

Black Chestnut, connected star and narrow strip; both hind socks, born April 27, 1971

Joey's pedigree reads like a who's who in Morgan history.  His breeder, Stuart Hazard, did something that only a larger breeder can do, bringing the same mare, Allen's Fancy L. to three different stallions, all "one off," in three generations.  The first two crosses resulted in full siblings: The Brown Falcon and Flyhawk's Fancy, Stuart's "...best mare."  The third time, he crossed Fancy L. to Agazizz to produce Alfaizz.  All three of these horses came together in Funquest Bosquejo.

Behind these individuals, we find the following important horses:

Headlight Morgan  Tehachapi Allen  Jubilee King  Allen King

So, while we'd bought Jo for who he was, standing right in front of us, there were benefits waiting in the genes, I mean wings, far beyond our expectations.

Next, Against All Odds, the story of Joey's survival of a barn fire and broken P2 Pastern.  To be notified when this story is posted:  mailto: saddlefitter@gmail.com
