By way of introduction, Cheryle Matis and I met many years ago when I saddled her horse Shane Gray. I am thrilled to introduce her and her incredibly beautiful jewelry. Enjoy! "Shane Grey was my first horse; He taught me so much. We were able to experience so many different adventures and riding disciplines. The Lord brought Shane to me after the loss of my son Brandon at age 15. With the support of my family, friends, prayer and Shane, I was able to get through my grief, find peace, and live a new life with out my son. Only we horse lovers know what joy, fulfillment and healing horses can bring to us. Shane passed on the summer of 2005 at the age of 21. I can only accept the gift the Lord brought to me at such a time of despair and imagine Brandon and Shane riding in the heavens. In my heart, I was inspired to make something beautiful out of his tail because it was hard to find anyone to do so. The encouragement from my friends to make jewelry for them and to sell it gives me a way to fulfill other peoples needs to have something special made from their dear close friend and companion.
